Snapchat's Commerce Power Pack moves performance advertising closer to the conversations where product recommendations already happen. Dynamic Product Ads for Sponsored Snaps can now use a retailer's catalog and conversion signals to select products and place them inside Chat. Snap says the format is available to advertisers globally.

The package also expands how campaigns optimize. Value Optimization is in beta for web and app advertisers and aims to prioritize purchases that generate greater value, rather than maximizing conversion count alone. Third-Party Web Optimization can combine Snap signals with outcomes measured through partners such as Google Analytics and Northbeam. An alpha-stage Omnichannel Optimization product is designed to capture purchases across web and app within one campaign.

Snap's official announcement, dated 10 September 2026, includes performance figures from internal studies and selected partners. These results should be validated with an advertiser's own margin, new-customer and revenue data.

Why this matters for commerce

Sponsored Snaps place an advertisement inside a personal communication surface. That creates a high-attention opportunity, but relevance and frequency become essential to avoid making the experience intrusive. A complete, current product feed and accurate purchase-value events are therefore as important as creative design.

GCC relevance

Snapchat remains culturally important across Saudi Arabia and parts of the Gulf, especially for visually led categories. Yet feature availability, consent requirements and data quality should be confirmed in the individual ad account before a business makes the format central to its plan.

Karim strategic takeaway

Test one product or service category with a clean feed and a clear value signal. Compare first-time customer cost, realized revenue and cancellation or no-show rate with existing social channels. For healthcare, use the format for education or compliant service discovery—not sensitive-condition targeting—and keep medical claims behind review.
