Meta introduced Muse for Small Business on 29 September 2026, expanding its personal agent with connectors and skills aimed at business operations. The official announcement says Muse can connect Instagram professional account analytics, Facebook Pages and Meta ad accounts alongside tools including Shopify, Klaviyo, QuickBooks, Stripe, Canva, Slack and Zoom. Read Meta’s announcement.

This is distinct from Meta’s enterprise platform announcement. The small-business product is designed to work across the tools an owner or lean team already uses, bringing sales, campaign, social and financial context into the same workflow.

From campaign assistant to connected operator

An AI system becomes more useful when it can compare media performance with customer and transaction data. Muse can be asked to analyze sales, campaigns and social activity, draft a growth plan, review content performance or flag unusual expenses. Meta says nothing publishes, sends or spends without approval.

The commercial promise is clear: fewer exports, fewer disconnected dashboards and faster movement from an insight to a proposed action. The risk is equally clear. The agent may see sensitive customer, financial and operational records, while its recommendations can still be wrong or incomplete. Availability also depends on eligible Muse markets and connected services.

What marketers should measure

The right test is not whether Muse produces a persuasive report. A useful pilot should measure the time saved, the accuracy of its analysis, the quality of proposed campaigns and whether its recommendations improve qualified demand. Teams should keep an independent source of truth for revenue and conversion data.

GCC and healthcare relevance

Saudi and UAE businesses often operate across Arabic and English customer journeys, multiple branches and several messaging channels. Connected context could help identify where demand is lost, but healthcare organizations should not connect patient records or clinical systems to a general business agent without an approved privacy, security and governance process.

Karim’s strategic takeaway

Start with read-only access to one ad account and one non-sensitive commercial dataset. Ask Muse to produce a weekly diagnosis and three testable growth hypotheses, then compare them with a marketer’s analysis. Keep publication, customer communication and media spend behind explicit approval until the team has evidence that the workflow is accurate and auditable.
